Keo Buford

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Keo Buford is the second eldest of 9 children. He was educated in the Miami-Dade County school system, graduating from Miami Northwestern Sr. High. Growing up in Miami’s inner city public housing gave him the impetus to move on in life and defy the odds. Keo attended Bethune-Cookman College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Keo also received his certification in addiction counseling.

Keo practiced as an addiction counselor for many years. His career transitioned to serving the homeless population as the director of subsidized housing programs at MUST and is currently the Vice President of Strategic Housing Initiatives. Keo is a passionate leader and advocate for the homeless community. He currently serves on Cobb County’s Mental Health Advisory Board.
